Welcome to our 3rd annual 6-a-side Touch Rugby Festival
Welcome to our 3rd annual 6-a-side Touch Rugby Festival
Captains to register their team at Registration Tent from 10:00 with payment of £40 per team (unless previously paid).
First K.O. will be at 11:00am (two pitches four teams).
A coin toss will determine the team that kicks off.
K.O. will be in the form of a tap and pass from the centre spot of the pitch.
Teams to be ready in the technical area five minutes before their allocated K.O. time.
Any team not ready for K.O., could forfeit the match.
There are two groups, each team will play each other in their group once.
The top four teams from each group will advance to quarter finals of Cup.
If teams have equal points at the end of the group stages try count difference will prevail, followed by try count for and finally the toss of a coin.
During the knockout stages, matches tied at the end of normal time will be decided by a golden try in overtime. Teams will be reduced in number (by 1 per team) after every 2 minutes of overtime.
Bibs are available where there is a clash of colours between teams.
We ask that no alcoholic beverages are brought onto the site, as per terms of the Bryncethin RFC tournament. Strictly no glass bottles allowed for health and safety purposes.

Bryncethin RFC accept no liability for cars parked on site during the event or if parked overnight.
Please keep alcohol consumption to a sensible level when taking part in the event. Players clearly under the influence of alcohol will be asked to sit matches out for their own safety. We will not be held liable for anyone injured whilst under the influnce of alcohol.
Bryncethin RFC will not tolerate the use of recreational drugs on it's grounds. Anyone found to be using drugs will be asked to leave the event.
ALL INFORMATION OF MATCHES, PITCHES AND KICK OFF TIMES WILL BE CLEARLY VISIBLE IN THE MAIN HALL OF THE CLUB, WITH ANNOUNCEMENTS MADE OVER THE PA SYSTEM. TO AVOID ANY UNWANTED DELAYS, IT IS THE CAPTAIN'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK DETAILS OF THEIR TEAM'S MATCHES.
